In early education in Hämeenlinna use Päikky– application which works on computers, tablets and smartphones.

The website address is: Päikky (paikky.fi)

You can also download the application from Play Store or App Store.

The username in the application is your Finnish phone number.

When you log into the service for the first time, you need strong authentification through your bank*. You will be able to set your own password then.

More information on username registration: Päikky tietopankki | Username registration (tawk.help)

If you have problems logging in, contact: paikky(at)hameenlinna.fi

*If you don´t have Finnish ID

Persons without a Finnish ID number cannot strongly identify themselves electronically in Finland.

In this case you must provide the staff at your kindergarten proper identification. You will be marked as “identified” in the Päikky Kindergarten application, and after that you can activate your username via the email you will receive. This email method can also be used to renew a password if you forget it.

Forgotten password

If you have forgotten your password, choose Forgot password? on the Päikky login screen. After identifying yourself using strong identification, you can then set a new password. If you don’t have a Finnish ID number, you must contact your provider paikky@hameenlinna.fi
