Become MyIntegration Blogger!

MyIntegration Blog is an open space for everyone who is interested in writing and sharing experiences related to immigration and integration in Kanta-Häme region.

MyIntegration Blog is unbiased; it does not address politics or religion but focuses on sharing good practices that promote integration.

MyIntegration Admins decide whether a blog article can be published. The article must be ethical and compliant with the law and good manners.

You can be, for example, a student, a worker, an unemployed person, a parent, a retiree – our space is open to everyone. Just take a while to read the instructions what to do to be published on our website:

Voit olla esim. opiskelija, työntekijä, työtön, kotivanhempi, eläkeläinen – artikkelisi voidaan julkaista verkkosivuillamme. Lue ohjeet ja ota yhteyttä:

  • The blog article must be either in Finnish or English and in Word format (we do not accept handwritten texts).
  • If you want, you can also write in a language you know besides Finnish or English. (Finnish or English + your language)
  • Put a title, the content of the text, and a short excerpt (what the article is about).

**Note: We do not correct mistakes, and flawless text is not required! The space is open to everyone, including Finnish language students and interns. However, if you need additional support in writing the text, we are here to help.

  • It’s good to include picture(s), but permission for publication is required. If there are people in the picture and they are easily identifiable, their consent for publishing the image is needed.
  • It’s also possible to include a video (same guidelines for picture permission applies).
  • If you are writing an article for the first time for us, we will create a blogger account for you. This requires your name, surname, photo, and title (e.g., student, employee, intern).
