Let’s Call Employers Together is a low-threshold service provided by the City of Hämeenlinna. The service is intended for international residents who are looking for a job, an internship or a work try-out opportunity. You can get guidance on job seeking and support with contacting employers.
Who is the service for?
The service is open to all international residents in Hämeenlinna.
You can use the service if:
You already have a specific job, internship or work try-out opportunity in mind and need support with contacting the employer.
When and where is the service available?
- Wednesdays, 10:00–12:00 (during the Sinhala service)
- Fridays, 13:00–15:00 (during the Tagalog service)
Location: Service Point Kastelli, Wetterhoffinkatu 2
No appointment is needed.
What can you do at the service?
- Get guidance on job seeking
- Learn how to contact an employer
- Practise what you can say when calling an employer
- Call an employer together with a service advisor
The service does not search for jobs on your behalf, create CVs or write job applications for you. The goal is to help you learn how to contact employers confidently and independently and take the first steps in your job search.
