Baby’s Day at Poltinaho Parish Hall

Baby’s Day is celebrated every year on the last Friday of September. Nationally, Baby’s Day is coordinated by VauvaSuomi ry.

In Hämeenlinna, Baby’s Day has been celebrated since 2022. At the Baby’s Day event, different local organizations present their services for families with babies. Cultural institutions in the area also often offer activities suitable for babies on Baby’s Day.

This year, Baby’s Day will be celebrated on Friday, September 26, 2025. The event will take place at Poltinaho Parish Hall (Turuntie 34, Hämeenlinna) from 13:00 to 17:00. The theme of this year’s Baby’s Day is “The Joy of Babies!”

Many different organizations will take part in the event, presenting their activities and offering things to do for families with babies. Some activities will run continuously, and some will take place at a specific time, so everyone can plan their day as they wish. Free small snacks and drinks will be available. The day’s program can be found below.

The event will also have stroller parking and a breastfeeding room. If you are coming by car, please reserve enough time to find parking. If needed, you can also use the Kauriala gravel field for parking.
