Work&Learn mentoring program (OpinTyö) kicked off in January
In January 2024, the first ever Work&Learn mentoring program (OpinTyö) started, with about a dozen participants. They had diverse professional skills and the program looked for them a relevant interniship on a wide scale, from restaurants to hairdressers and shops. During the spring, there were 13 internship positions, one of which was in the cleaning service company N-Clean.
The participants gathered a lot of positive experiences of internships, and for many, the internship was their first contact with Finnish working life.
One of the goals of the OpinTyö-project is the employment of the participants, and great successes were also achieved in this field. Based on the group internship, N-Clean offered summer jobs to two trainees. In terms of individual internships, Rengas-Vekka Oy offered seasonal jobs and Scandic Hämeenlinna City summer jobs.
