The new group for the civic orientation in English will begin in autumn and registration is now open.

Have you recently moved to Finland? Or have you lived in Finland for a longer time but still need more information about Finnish society, services, and everyday life? The civic orientation course provides information about life in Finland and also helps you get to know the city of Hämeenlinna. During the course, you will learn how Finnish society and public services work. You will also receive information about your rights and responsibilities, as well as where to get help and support in different situations.
Civic orientation in English is included in the OpinTie program. OpinTie is part of the Quickly to Work – Language Aware Integration Coaching ESF+ project. In OpinTie in addition to the civic orientation, you will learn Finnish language.
The course is free of charge.
After registration, some applicants will be invited to a short selection interview. If you are selected for an interview, you will receive an invitation by email. If you are selected for the course, the trainer will provide you with more detailed information about the study days and schedule.
