Olli-Poika Parviainen (b. 1980) graduated with a master’s degree from the University of Tampere.
At present, he works as a Secretary of State in the Ministry of the Interior.
In 2015-2019, Olli-Poika Parviainen was a Member of the Greens.
In 2011-2015, Olli-Poika Parviainen served as the Deputy Mayor of the City of Tampere. His responsibilities included the city’s business and education services, as well as culture and leisure time services.
Olli-Poika Parviainen has been the Chairman of the Boards of Fimlab Laboratoriot Oy and Tampereen Särkänniemi Oy since 2017.
Olli-Poika Parviainen will take up the position of Mayor of Hämeenlinna in early autumn.
