International Day at Renko School

tanssiharjoittelut australialaisen vaihto-oppilaan kanssa
On International Day, pupils from Comprehensive School in Renko meet people from different countries and practise English.

Comprehensive School in Renko celebrates the School’s International Day once a year.

Students from different countries, exchange students and others are invited to the school. This year, Erasmus+ students were also present.

The idea of the day is that young people from abroad tell all 120 pupils and preschoolers of Renko School about their country and culture, teach dances or games, present objects from their own culture or even the food culture of their family. The communication language is English. The guests also teach the students greetings and other everyday phrases in their native languages.

This year’s Renko International Day included presentations from Georgia, Peru, Ecuador, Indonesia, Italy, Australia, Azerbaijan and Germany.
