The activities are based on volunteerism, enhance community spirit, and offer opportunities to participate.

As a volunteer:
- you learn new things,
- meet new people,
- get a free hobby,
- learn Finnish,
- can influence the well-being of the people of Hämeenlinna.
You can volunteer either occasionally or regularly, whenever it suits you.
The staff provide training, orientation, support, and recreational activities for volunteers. Volunteering is confidential and unpaid.
