Enrol your child in the seventh class
Enrolment takes place through the Wilma system.
Enrolment is available from 19 December 2024 on Wilma’s homepage and the enrollment will remain open until 12 January 2025.
When erolling, the guardian logged into Wilma must verify the following information:
- the student’s name and contact information
- other information related to the student’s school attendance
If you move to Hämeenlinna or within Hämeenlinna before the start of the school year (August 1, 2025), fill out the electronic student place application for the 7th grade.
A school place is assigned in accordance with the criteria for admission as a student decided by the Board of Education and Welfare (criteria for determining a student place).
Information about the neighbourhood school decision will be published in Wilma or sent home by letter from March 14, 2025.
The decisions of those who applied for a school place on the basis of moving will first be made at the address valid on March 14, 2025 in the population information system. The school place will be reassigned based on the application, when the move to the new address has been updated in the population information system.
Guardians can apply for a secondary school place only after the neighbourhood school for the 7th grade has been assigned.
