English-Language Lunch Meetups for Mothers

Neljä naista poseeraa punaisissa vaatteissa. Yhdellä on vauva sylissä.
Mothers in Business Kanta-Häme is launching English-language lunch meetups – a warm welcome to all international and Finnish mothers!

The purpose of the Mothers in Business (MiB) organization is to provide opportunities for mothers who are working or are on family leave to network, develop their professional skills and receive peer support. MiB aims to promote a family-friendly work culture and improve the position of mothers in working life and society. MiB Kanta-Häme is a growing network where you can build professional connections, find leisure activities and make new friends.

Upcoming lunch meetups

MiB Mingles, which includes lunches, playdates, workshops etc. around Finland, are relaxed gatherings where you can chat about work and family life. They are a great way to get to know other MiB mothers in the area and learn about the activities MiB organizes.

First lunch meetup is at Restaurant Popino on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 11:15 AM. Address: Raatihuoneenkatu 25, Hämeenlinna. Event is open to everyone interested – whether you’re a member of Mothers in Business or not – welcome! Lunch (14.50€) is at your own expense.

Please sign up in advance for a table reservation. Children are welcome to join the lunch too. Sign up for the lunch on May 27

You’ll recognize the organizers by their red MiB lanyards. They’ll be there to greet you at the door and can help with strollers.

Save the date: Next English-language lunch meetup will be on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 11:15 AM. The location will be confirmed closer to the date. Sign up for the lunch on August 29
