
According to the law, multilingual civic orientation must include information on, for example: living, residing and working in Finland; how Finnish society operates; fundamental and human rights and equality; employment, entrepreneurship and the labor market; studying and educational opportunities; civic engagement through associations and volunteer work; inclusion.
In autumn 2025, civic orientation will be offered in Hämeenlinna in two new languages: Sinhala and Tagalog. The orientation will take place at Kumppanuustalo, located at Kirjastokatu 1. Participation in civic orientation requires registration.
