Welcome to OpinIkä afternoons! The afternoons are for people over 60 years old who live in Hämeenlinna.

• free of charge  
• interpretation available in Arabic, Dari and Russian  

The afternoons offer enjoyable group activities, new experiences and new friendships. You can try Finnish games and fishing, for example. 

OpinIkä afternoons will be held

• 6 July 2026 at 1 pm
  Place: Tervaniemi (Tervaniementie 32–36, bus number 1) 

• 20 July 2026 at 1 pm
  Place: Hämeensaari, meeting in front of the swimming hall (Uimarinpolku 2) 

• 3 August 2026 at 1 pm
  Place: Kumppanuustalo (Kirjastokatu 1)
  We will have “nyyttärit”. Everyone can bring a small snack to share. 

If it rains in the morning, the activities will be indoors at Kumppanuustalo. 

The afternoons are organized by the International Resident Services of the City of Hämeenlinna and the Osallisuuden avaimet project. The project receives funding for health promotion from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health (STM).
