The City of Hämeenlinna is currently preparing the Hämeenlinna Safety and Security Programme to be completed in June. This Kotofoorumi focuses on safety from the perspective of international residents.

The event is organised as an English-language Erätauko dialogue, offering a respectful and safe space for shared reflection. The discussion explores

• how Hämeenlinna feels in everyday life from the viewpoint of international residents
• which factors strengthen or weaken the sense of safety
• how safety can be built together in shared urban life

City decision-makers and officials will take part in the discussion, listening and reflecting together with residents. The dialogue will contribute to the development of the city’s safety programme.
