“This event is unique due to its location. Hämeenlinna Town Hall provides a valuable and symbolic environment. At the same time, it challenges us adults and decision-makers to reflect on structures and attitudes: where and how can young people be seen and heard? It is important to go where their matters are decided locally and to give space to young people at the heart of decision-making. I warmly invite residents and decision-makers to hear the messages of young people,” says Anu-Rohima Mylläri, project manager of the Kohti uutta -project.
The event production is handled by Miniteatteri. The technical implementation of the event is managed by the young people of the ARX Open Cultural Centre’s “Koeajo” pilot. The rest of the event is provided by the Kohti uutta -project.
Kohti uutta is an ESR+ project implemented in 2023-2025, which carries out the Sustainable Growth Häme 2022-2025 program. The project is funded by the Häme Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment.
